Sipalay, Negros Occidental, Philippines — September 19, 2026 — Manami Resort, the nature-
led luxury resort in Sipalay, Negros Occidental, has been awarded a Michelin Key, as
announced by the MICHELIN Guide on September 19, 2026. The distinction recognizes hotels
that offer exceptional experiences and stand out for their quality, character, and overall guest
experience

Set between forested hills and the waters of the Sulu Sea, Manami was created as a quiet
expression of Negros — bringing together nature, local culture, thoughtful design, and the
warmth of Negrense hospitality
The recognition marks a meaningful milestone for the resort, which has remained rooted in its
natural surroundings since opening in 2023.

“Being awarded a MICHELIN Key is a meaningful recognition for everyone at Manami,” says
Giro Solatorio, Property Head. “More than the recognition itself, we are grateful that it brings
attention to Negros Island and to the people, culture, and natural environment that make this
place special.”
Manami’s experience is shaped by its setting. Guests are invited to explore the surrounding
landscape and marine environment through experiences ranging from snorkeling and diving to
kayaking, nature walks, and guided activities with the resort’s Nature Butlers. At the heart of the
property is also its commitment to celebrating local flavors and traditions through its dining and
guest experiences.
The resort’s approach to hospitality extends beyond the guest experience, with ongoing efforts
focused on the protection of its surrounding natural and marine environment and the practice of
more responsible, regenerative tourism.
Located in Sipalay, one of Negros Occidental’s coastal destinations, Manami offers 18 suites
and villas designed to immerse guests in the landscape while maintaining a sense of privacy
and understated luxury.

The MICHELIN Key adds another milestone to Manami’s growing international recognition,
following its inclusion in Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
For Manami, the recognition is ultimately an opportunity to share a little more of Negros with the
world, through its landscape, its people, and the distinct warmth of Negrense hospitality.
